Musk turned to Twitter to ask users if Tesla should take Dogecoin as a form of payment. At this time of writing, the poll has already garnered nearly 3.5 million votes with “Yes” being the most popular response.

Dogecoin, the cryptocurrency based on the notorious Shiba Inu meme, has soared to new heights. Musk has since gotten in on the trend, and even announced that SpaceX is launching a Dogecoin-funded trip to the moon.
Given Musk’s love for memes and cryptocurrency, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Tesla starts accepting Dogecoin as payment. After all, you can already purchase a Tesla with bitcoin—why shouldn’t Dogecoin be next?
Musk Proves That the Sky Isn’t the Limit
