The accelerometer in your Android phone can detect your phone’s orientation and rotate the screen to landscape or portrait mode. But sometimes auto-rotate on Android can stop working. Often, it is due to the option simply being disabled. In other instances, it can happen due to issues with the phone’s firmware, a faulty sensor, or a third-party app conflict.
