TikTok is trying out a new feature that will let you hold fundraisers on your profile. This will help you raise money for the nonprofit organization or charity of your choice.
Support Your Favorite Charity on TikTok
Social media consultant, Matt Navarra, first uncovered the new TikTok test, and later revealed his findings in a Tweet.

If you’re part of the test, you’ll get to decide which nonprofit organization you want to display on your profile.
To find out if you have access to the feature, edit your profile, and look for a Nonprofit section. Selecting that will let you choose between charities, such as the ASPCA, American Heart Association, British Red Cross, Black Girls Code, CDC Foundation, and more.
Once you decide on one, the charity will appear underneath your bio as Supporting: [Nonprofit]. When users select that button, they’ll get a chance to donate to your charity, and will also be able to see how much you’ve raised so far.
In the past, TikTok encouraged its users to give to charity using Donation Stickers. Users could place these stickers on videos and live streams to raise money for a good cause.
Spreading Kindness Across Social Media
Social media networks aren’t often thought of as places that spread kindness and joy. If TikTok decides to officially roll out this donation feature, it may spark a little more happiness on the web.
