TikTok is partnering with Samsung to bring its short-form video platform to a much bigger screen. The platform is rolling out a Samsung Smart TV app that will let you watch TikToks from the comfort of your living room.

TikTok revealed its Samsung Smart TV app in a post on the TikTok Newsroom, giving users a new form of entertainment on their TV. For now, the TikTok TV app is only available to users in the UK.
The TikTok TV app lets you browse For You and Following feeds, as well as check out the most popular content on the platform. You can also interact with the videos, much like you would on the mobile TikTok app.
You’ll also find that videos have been placed into 12 categories, some of which include sections for animals, gaming, food, and comedy. The app also prominently displays the #LearnOnTikTok section that’s dedicated to educational content.
If you plan on watching TikToks with the whole family, you should know that the TV app automatically opens in Restricted Mode, preventing inappropriate content from appearing on your feeds.
You can download the TikTok TV app on any Samsung Smart TV models that are 2018 or newer, and you don’t need a TikTok account to start browsing.
TikTok Just Keeps on Growing
TikTok has taken over mobile devices as one of the most popular social media apps, and has now expanded its influence to TVs. Of course, all of this is happening while a potential TikTok ban in the US looms in the background.
