What Is the Apple Music Replay Playlist?

Apple Music’s Replay playlists are Apple’s equivalent to the Spotify Wrapped playlists. The primary difference is that Apple Music updates the playlist weekly and makes it available year-round. It’s generated solely from your streaming habits and cannot be altered manually.

As such, if you are someone that likes to listen to calming sleep music at night or lets your child play songs on your phone frequently, your Replay playlist may not be as representative of your interests or as much fun to listen to.

The Replay 2021 playlist updates each Sunday with your refreshed listening data, featuring your top 100 songs for the year—it’ll change as you discover new artists, enjoy new releases, and maybe even find a new genre to listen to.

Since the 2021 playlist just launched, and it’s still early in the year, your 2021 Replay playlist may be showing fewer than 100 songs at present.

The desktop version of the Replay 2021 playlist resembles the Spotify Wrapped data presentation, though Apple has not created a shareable summary for social media.
