It’s-a Me, Mario-Themed Nintendo Switch Console!

Are you a massive fan of Mario? Do you love Nintendo Switch? Are you thinking about buying a Nintendo Switch console?

If the answer to any of these questions is “Yes”, then Nintendo’s new Switch console should be on your radar.

Nintendo Releases Mario-Themed Switch Console

The Nintendo Switch has taken on a fresh look. Nintendo has now bedecked the console and accessories with an eye-catching red and blue colorway.

You’ll probably recognize this new theme, unless you’ve paid no attention to video games over the past 30 years. Why? Because those are the colors that Mario wears, of course!

The console comes with all the usual accouterments, like docking station, Joy-Cons, and control pad. But it also features a couple of extras, these being a Switch carry case and a screen protector for the console’s display.

The console costs $299 and you can grab it at the Nintendo store.

Why Has Nintendo Released the Mario-Themed Switch?

In case you hadn’t noticed the Nintendo news, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is also now available. So, to celebrate, Nintendo has released the limited edition Switch console, too.

This isn’t the first time Nintendo has dropped a variation on the Switch console and its accessories, as previous Switch consoles have celebrated other games. Likewise, forthcoming games are also getting their own console, too.

Which Other Themed Consoles Does Switch Have?

Well, there are several themed Switch consoles that Nintendo has previously released. Most recent has been the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch, which featured a themed, pastel-shaded colorway and characters from the game.

However, news recently broke that Nintendo is planning to release a Monster Hunter Switch console. This marks the release of the forthcoming Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise title.

These Switch consoles, thanks to their limited edition nature, tend to be somewhat of a rarity. You can get consoles with Super Smash Bros. regalia or pick up a Pikachu console. Just don’t expect the price tag to be reasonable. The Diablo III edition is still the best-looking, though…

Should You Buy the Mario-Themed Switch?

Sure, why ever not?! There is no difference to the console itself other than its cosmetic appearance, so if you are on the lookout for a Nintendo Switch, grab yourself a limited edition version.

Unfortunately, the Switch Lite isn’t available in this limited color scheme, which means you will have to buy the standard Nintendo Switch if you would like to own one in Mario colors.
