Colorful Launches New CVN Z590 GAMING Pro Motherboard

Colorful has launched its new CVN Z590M GAMING PRO motherboard, a micro-ATX build for Intel’s latest 11th Generation processors. The CNV Z590M GAMING PRO supports PCIe 4.0, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, and comes with new onboard cooling armor to deliver better cooling than the previous motherboard generation.

New Colorful Motherboard Delivers Intel 11th Gen Support

The new CVN Z590M GAMING Pro motherboard brings Intel 11th Gen support to one of Colorful’s most popular motherboard models. Intel’s latest CPU generation picks up where the previous left off, with exceptionally powerful chips pushing to compete with AMD’s ongoing resurgence in both quality and popularity.

Colorful’s CVN Z590M also uses Intel’s latest Z590 chipset. The upgraded Z590M chipset brings greater support for PCIe 4.0, USB 3.2, and a heap of other functionality.

The CVN Z590M GAMING PRO uses the upgraded chipset to deliver support for ultra-fast PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs, which can read and write data at speeds up to 7,000MB/s. Furthermore, the PCIe 4.0 lanes allow the latest Nvidia RTX 3000 series and AMD 6000 series GPUs to work to the best of the capabilities, with a faster overall memory bus to boost your in-game performance.

As a further boost, the CVN Z590M includes a Resizable BAR, an optional PCIe 4.0 tech that allows the CPU to address the memory directly. The result is faster performance and increased response time.

Interestingly, the Colorful CVN Z590M has beefed up the cooling armor on the motherboard. Colorful claims that the larger RIMY Cooling Armor will help dissipate heat faster, protecting the motherboard and other components from overheating during gaming sessions.

The RIMY Cooling Armor is 30 percent larger than the previous generation. Still, we’ll have to see how it stacks up under testing before confirming the difference it makes to overall system cooling.

Finally, Colorful has also upgraded its iGame Center motherboard customization app. You can use iGame Center to create custom RGB color displays on your motherboard, create unique color combinations, or use one of Colorful’s presets.

Colorful Continues Busy Start to 2021

It’s been a busy 2021 so far for Colorful. The company has released several new bits of hardware, not least the iGame RTX 3060 Ultra W OC, a tidy take on Nvidia’s latest GPU.
