You Can Finally Use Microsoft Whiteboard on Your Android Device

Microsoft Whiteboard has been available for Windows and iOS for quite some time. This freeform canvas drawing app is now makings its way to Android, and you can now collaborate and share your ideas using this app on your Android devices.

Microsoft Whiteboard Arrives on Android

As seen on the Google Play Store, Microsoft has made the preview of their Whiteboard app available on the official Android app store. This app will now let you create as well as discuss any of your ideas on a freeform canvas on your Android-based devices.

The app is still in preview mode which means it’s not as stable as it would be when the stable version releases. It wouldn’t be too long before a stable version comes, though.

There are several features in Microsoft Whiteboard that you can use to create and discuss your ideas. Since the app works on Android, you can use it on both your phone as well as tablets, so long they’re based on Android.

The main interface boasts a freeform canvas allowing you to add many kinds of items to it. You can add custom drawings, text, and even sticky notes to this canvas. If you create doodles, you now have tools to turn your doodles into great-looking shapes within the app.

Microsoft Whiteboard updates the canvas in real-time, and this allows you to see who’s working on what element.

Limitations With Microsoft Whiteboard

As of the writing, Microsoft Whiteboard is only available for work and school account holders. If you have a personal account, you can’t currently use it with this app. Microsoft says support for personal accounts is coming soon.
