Google Is Rolling Out a New Play Store UI Without the Hamburger Menu

Google has released an update for the Play Store that brings a redesigned interface to Android users. This interface is aimed at making the Play Store look cleaner and to help you find all your setting options in a single menu.

Google Play Store Gets a New Look

The new look of the Play Store is now available to many users. In this new interface, you’ll find that the hamburger menu is gone. Google has added all of the hamburger menu items to the profile icon, which appears at the top-right of your screen.

Google has also simplified the Settings menu by condensing all of the options in it. This gives a nice and neat look to the menu, and makes finding items easier.

How to Access the New Menu Options in Google Play Store

As a user, you don’t need to do anything to get this redesigned user interface in your Play Store. Your phone should automatically download and install the update that brings this new UI.

When that happens, open the Play Store and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner. Instead of the usual few options, you now have more options to access here in this menu. One of these is Settings that opens the Play Store’s settings menu.

The options you can find in the Settings menu are: General, User Controls, Family, and About.

});

var images = document.getElementsByClassName(“gallery-2-images”);

Availability of the Redesigned Google Play Store

This redesign seems to be rolling out gradually, and if you don’t see it in your Play Store right away, don’t worry. Like mentioned earlier, your phone will automatically download the update that brings this new interface.

Google Play Store Becomes Cleaner

With Google shifting all of the hamburger menu items over to the profile menu, you now have one less icon to clutter your Play Store interface. Also, the redesigned Settings menu ensures you only see the options that you care about.
