Xiaomi Mi Band 6 Is Now Available for Preorder in the US

In the world of high-end fitness trackers, few models offer as many features as the latest Apple Watch models. But those aren’t for everyone. Some people want a simple fitness wearable that won’t cost the same arm and leg it’s tracking.

That’s where a device like the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 6 comes into play. It retails for around $60 (though it was $35 when it was first released in other regions) and comes with many of the same features you’d expect to see on a far more expensive device.

Now, about a month after its announcement, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is finally available for preorder in the United States.

Where to Preorder the Xiaomi Mi Band 6

While Xiaomi smartphones are almost impossible to find in the United States, Xiaomi doesn’t have any issue getting its wearable devices out within US borders.

In the case of the Mi Band 6, you can currently find preorders available at Amazon for $59.89, with the device set to ship around May 18.

Walmart is offering a much better deal on the Xiaomi Mi Band 6, though. You can preorder it for $54.99, and it’s listed as scheduled to ship on May 6. Not only is it $5 cheaper, but you’ll get it quite a bit sooner if you choose to order through Walmart.

As of this writing, those are the only two US retailers we’ve seen the fitness tracking for sale, but more places may start carrying it shortly. Either way, the device is coming fairly soon, so you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on one.

Is The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 Worth Buying?

While you can easily lock in a Xiaomi Mi Band 6 through Walmart or Amazon, the question is whether it’s actually worth picking one up. So far, publications that have received the device are giving it rave reviews. Android Authority called it “A clear winner.” Android Guys says that it “builds on its predecessor and is among one the best options for your money.”

As far as features go, the Mi Band 6 is pretty loaded for the price. It has a 1.56-inch AMOLED touch screen that looks quite good.

Unlike most smartwatches that require frequent charges, it has a ridiculous battery life of up to two weeks.

It even has some high-end features such as a SpO2 Sensor and 24-hour heart rate monitoring, which are features that usually require you to throw down a lot more cash.
