The profile text on Instagram is limited to 150 characters, which people usually use to write about their hobbies, likes, profession, and even add keywords. Since it’s so limited, it’s hard to include a lot of information.

The process to add your pronouns is not that different and quite easy. Simply follow these steps:

1. Tap on your profile picture at the bottom left of the screen to navigate to your profile.
2. Tap Edit Profile.
3. Tap Pronouns, just underneath your Username.
4. Start typing the pronouns you want in Add your pronouns. You can add up to four pronouns, but they can only be from the list that Instagram offers.
5. Tap on the pronouns to add them.
6. You can choose whether you want the pronouns to show publicly, or only to your followers, with the toggle button below.
7. Press the checkmark when you’re done, and again to save your profile.
8. The pronouns should now appear next to your name.
