1. How to Join Microsoft Teams Meeting With Desktop App

You can join Teams meetings via the desktop client, web browser, or mobile app with or without a Teams account. Here’s how to join a Teams meeting using the Microsoft Teams desktop app.

  1. Download and install Microsoft Teams.
  2. Launch Microsoft Teams.
  3. Click the Join button in the upper right corner.
  4. Click on Join now to join the meeting.
  5. Click on the end call button to end the call and exit meeting.

2. How to Join Microsoft Teams Meeting With Web Browser

To join any Teams meeting for the first time using your web browser,

  1. Click on the invitation link to launch Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click on Sign in and follow the screen prompts to log in to your Microsoft account.
  3. Ignore Download Teams, and click on Use the web app instead.
  4. If asked, How do you want to join your Teams meeting, select Continue on this browser.
  5. On the pop-up window, click on Join now to join the meeting.


  6. Click Allow to grant permission to use your mic, camera, etc.
  7. Then, click on Always allow to not ask for permission again.
  8. Click on Hang up to end the call and exit the meeting.
  9. To rejoin the meeting, click on Join at the top right corner of your browser, then Join now.
