Amazon Announces When Prime Day 2021 Is Taking Place

Roll-up, roll-up, get your low priced wares from Amazon in June! Why? Because Amazon Prime Day is almost upon us and Jeff Bezos has invited everyone to line his pockets even further.

Here’s what you need to know about Prime Day 2021.

Amazon Prime Day Arrives Early This Year

Amazon Prime Day is almost here. That one day per year where you lucky Prime members can get exclusive access to deals available only if you hold a Prime subscription.

So, when is it? Well, this year it is earlier than it has ever been. Prime Day 2021 will take place in June, between June 21-22 (so shouldn’t it actually be Prime Days?).

Get your credit cards ready as Amazon applies discounts of up to 30% on a range of its goods.

What Happens on Prime Day?

During Prime Day, anyone who is a member of Amazon’s paid subscription service, Prime, will be eligible to receive hearty discounts on a range of items stocked by the retailer.

So how do you know what deals are available? Well, Amazon highlights each deal with a blue badge, so you’ll know if the particular item you’re looking for is available at a cheaper Prime Day price point.

Deals will go live across the 48 hours, and you can expect to see some of the best discounts for Amazon’s own products, like Fire HD tablets, Alexa and Echo devices, and Kindle.

Aside from that, nothing much. It is just a sale (and probably a way for Amazon to tempt some of its customers into signing up for Prime) at the end of the day.

How Do You Join in on Prime Day?

Well, as mentioned, you’ll initially require an Amazon account with a Prime subscription. Then, all you need to do is show up on Amazon’s website on June 21-22.

You can do other things to make your experience a bit easier, though. According to the Prime Day page at Amazon.com, you can set up notifications for when deals go live, so you won’t miss out on grabbing bargains before stock disappears. Those lightning deals don’t last for long, you know!

Also, if you want to get in on the action early and you have an Amazon Echo, see what Alexa has to say about even more exclusive deals (just avoid asking Alexa to swear if there’re youngsters around).

Will You Be Buying Big on Prime Day 2021?

It might take you a while to sort the wheat from the chaff, but don’t despair, Amazon will have plenty of deals on Prime Day 2021 and you will pick up a bargain. Just make sure your Amazon Prime subscription is active so you can benefit from the deals!
