Amazon Begins Its Annual Prime Day Savings Event

Amazon has kicked off Prime Day 2021, its annual savings event across two days with massive discounts on products. Like a virtual Black Friday, Prime Day is perfect for shoppers looking to grab some big discounts on Amazon products and more besides.

Amazon Prime Day 2021 Begins

Every year, Amazon hosts a savings event called Prime Day. Over the duration of the event, shoppers have access to a wide-range of discounts. From Amazon essentials, the latest tech products, and fashion, shoppers can grab some huge bargains over the event.

This year, Prime Day is running from June 21 to June 22, as the company announced a few weeks ago. Originally, Prime Day was just a single day of savings, but over the last few years the event has evolved to two days instead. This gives shoppers 48 hours to get their hands on the exclusive deals on offer.

Last year, Prime Day sales surpassed $3.5 billion, so clearly the savings event is not one to miss. This amount is an increase of 60 percent from 2019, so we can see that Prime Day is increasing in popularity with shoppers as well.

How to Access Amazon’s Prime Day 2021 Deals

Shoppers can access Amazon’s Prime Day 2021 deals through Amazon.com. There’s also a dedicated Prime Day page that’s been set up for shoppers to browse all the Prime Day deals available. On this page, shoppers can browse the products on offer by categories and filters.

Prime Day deals are only available for Amazon Prime members, hence the name. This applies for both existing Prime members and new Prime members who were to join during the event. Also, shoppers on the Prime 30-day free trial can also access the deals and offers, so it’s worth signing up for the trial if you haven’t already got Prime.

The way Prime Day works is that there are some fixed deals for the event, some deals are limited (Flash Deals), and some are only for one of the days (Deals of the Day). These deals are easily accessible on Amazon’s website for shoppers to browse, although we’d encourage shoppers to check deals sooner rather than later.

Grab Some Bargains While They Last

With some huge savings up for grabs, shoppers should browse Amazon to grab the bargains while they last. With Black Friday still many months away, Prime Day could be the biggest savings event of the year so far.
