What Specs Do OnePlus 9-Series Handsets Have?

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are both very capable handsets. Having used several OnePlus handsets in the past, this writer can attest to their quality.

So what are wee looking at with the 9 and 9 Pro? Let’s take a look at the specs.

The 9 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, which carries a lovely 120 Hz refresh rate; perfect for mobile gaming even with the more display-demanding games.

Internally, you’re looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU and an Adreno 660 GPU. Again, great if you want to play games on the fly. All backed up by 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

Camera-wise, we’ve got a Sony IMX789 main sensor and a Sony IMX766 ultra-wide sensor. For video recording, you’re looking at 8K video at 30 fps, 4K video at 30/60/120 fps, and 1080p video at 30/60 fps. So it can capture stills and moving images without breaking a sweat.

The standard 9 comes with a slightly smaller screen than the Pro, offering 6.55 inches of prime real estate. You still get a 120 Hz Fluid AMOLED display, though, which will look just as good as the Pro, if not a tad smaller.

The internals match those of the OnePlus 9 Pro, so you’re not going to lose out on horsepower if you opt for the standard 9 model.

You do lose out a touch with the camera, though. With the OnePlus 9, we’ve got a Sony IMX689 main sensor and a Sony IMX766 ultra-wide sensor. So a slight drop down from the Pro model.

Grab a OnePlus 9-Series Handset, Now!

Both of the OnePlus 9-Series handset have plenty of chops when it comes to flagship smartphones. If you want to join the sizeable OnePlus user base, now is as good a time as any.
