Regenerative braking is a technology commonly found in hybrid and electric vehicles. It helps to recover energy that would otherwise be wasted when hitting the brakes. Regenerative braking uses the vehicle’s electric motors as generators to feed power back into the EV’s battery. Regenerative brakes are awesome, and they can be complemented by a novel technology that isn’t as common: regenerative shocks.
