Volkswagen officially unveiled the production version of the ID.7 on April 17, 2023. It’s the sixth vehicle that the Wolfsburg-based automaker is building on its dedicated electric vehicle platform called MEB. It’s also the first sedan-like model to be underpinned by this modular architecture, and the automaker touts it as being an electric equivalent to the ubiquitous Passat.
