One of the easiest things to upgrade or replace in your mechanical keyboard is the keycaps themselves. They don’t typically require any special tools (bar maybe a keycap puller and a switch puller), and you don’t need to spend a fortune. Just buy a new keycap set and throw them on your keyboard.
